Toby

Toby is the kind of guy who prefers to hang out in his favorite teacher’s classroom during lunch. He is the only donkey ODS has ever served who sincerely prefers to spend time with humans rather than other donkeys. We think he was taken from his mother at a young age, before he got a basic education in how to be a donkey. As a result, he grew up climbing on humans, not aware of personal space or basic manners. Sadly, his human sold him at auction, and his new owner was overwhelmed and surrendered him to ODS. Toby is very friendly, and his understanding of boundaries has improved a lot with ongoing work. He is the one donkey who is almost always at the gate, ready to greet and follow anyone and everyone who comes through!
