Blossom
Standard jenny
Birth year: 2017
Intake date: 6/22/2019
Like her name would suggest, Blossom is a flower child, and stands up to bullies no matter how big they are. At less than two years of age, Blossom was surrendered to us as a starvation case after her donkey companion passed away. She was all bones with skin infections and joint issues, which is hard to believe when one sees her now. While it took months of rehabilitation to get her to the beautiful, healthy girl she is today, she was always patient and expressed gratitude along her journey to health. If you listen closely, you can hear her wheeze, and she still has a bit of knee soreness from time to time. These are the last traces of her dreadful past. Blossom is very outgoing, loving, and a wonderful ambassador for the sanctuary!
